A Magical getaway

This past week Keith and I had the opportunity to go to Orlando for a mini-vacation while E spent time with the grandparents. Keith had a conference but we arrived a few days early to spend time together. 

It has been a few years since we have been to Disney, but it's still just as "magical". 

Our first stop, Epcot. 

I don't think I have been to Epcot since I was real young and definitely did not appreciate the World Showcase like I did this time. We were able to walk through Morocco, Japan, Spain and other countries. And even eat lunch in Italy-a real treat!

We could not have asked for better weather (a little overcast, but very little rain). We stayed until after the 2nd parade so we could experience the park with fewer people and ride more rides. 

Being at Disney World made us miss E a lot, but we are looking forward to bringing him when he is older and can remember it 😊. 

We also spent sometime exploring Orlando and hanging out with friends.

At first we didn't know if we'd see one, but...

They really are in every lake in Florida!

We are so grateful for the time away in a warm place!  

Now back to life in cold KY for another month or so.
